Come immerse yourself in the beloved traditions of Peking Opera, one of the most famous art forms of Chinese culture. Join us September 7 and 8 for two must-see performances -- "Three Colorful Excerpts of Peking Opera" and "The Magical Lotus Lantern" -- featuring the talents of the legendary Maestro Bao-Chun Li and the renowned Taipei Li-Yuan Peking Opera Theatre.
A star among stars in Peking Opera, Maestro Bao-Chun Li is a descendant of a long line of Peking Opera stars. He has been conferred an Honorary Doctorate Degree of Chinese Drama and Arts by the Northern Pontifical Academy in Nantes, France, and bequeathed the Award for Outstanding Asian Artist by the Chinese American Arts Council in New York City.
